Our spanish rural self-catering accommodation is within 30 minutes drive of the  Ebro Delta's Mediterranean coast and just a short walk to the mountain trails of Els Ports Natural Park.

Both self-catering accommodations are located near to the main farmhouse on our finca (small fruit farm) which covers an area of about 10,000 sq metres consisting mainly of olive and almond trees.  It is in the beautiful Val de la Cervera valley and has excellent mountain views. The small village of Els Reguers is only 5 minutes drive away where you will  find surprisingly good restaurants (two of which, the Panxampla and Calau, are listed in the Michelin guide) and bars.  Its village shops provide local produce and will cover any day-to-day needs.   Supermarkets however are another 10 minutes drive located in the towns of Roquetes and Tortosa.

CASA PEQUENA (for up to 4 persons)

The Casa Pequena self-catering accommodation is located next to our farmhouse, but is completely private, & caters for up to 4 people. 

It is a small house consisting of 2 twin bedrooms, shower room with shower, toilet and hand basin, a kitchen area which includes fridge/freezer and gas cooker.   There is also a lounge/diner area with comfortable sofa, TV (which receives english TV & radio channels), video player (with a good selection of films), cd/cassette player (with selection of music tapes) and a well-stocked bookcase (including maps and guides to Ebro Delta & Els Ports mountains).  It also has its own private outside terrace situated on the edge of the farmhouse's colourful flower garden & freshwater ponds.  Heating & air cooling facilities are supplied subject to season. 

When you book the casa pequena during the summer months, you will have exclusive use of a shady pine tree terrace & its 4.5 x 3m pool (max depth 1.4m) every day between the hours of 9.30 am & 7.30 pm.  The pool and its terrace (which also includes garden furniture, woven hammock & lounger) are to the rear of the farmhouse on traditional Spanish terracing & only a few seconds walk from your accommodation.   From this relaxing location you will be able to experience exceptional mountain views.

Depending on the season, you will be able to help yourself from the various fruit trees surrounding the accommodation. (We have apricot, almond & fig trees as well as grape vines).

The location is an ideal place from which to spot many different species of birds (these include raptors such as short-toed and bonelli's eagles, also griffon vultures).  Casa Pequena guests will  also be able to use the farmhouse roof terrace vantage point for birdwatching.    Our Leica Televid 77 scope can also be made available for your use.  It is also well-placed to enable you to leave your car behind and explore the local area on foot.  Maps & guides are located in the accommodation for those wishing to self-guide the area and of course you will also have access to our extensive local knowledge.

Now you have the opportunity to book the Casa Pequena in combination with the Bona Vista country house (which caters for up to 6 people), & has a larger swimming pool, terrace & BBQ area.  The Bona Vista is ideally situated in relation to the Casa Pequena but not on top of it, (ie. 50 m away through an olive grove), and by booking both units you can accommodate up to 10 people & will also receive a good discount for the joint booking.

2010 PRICES

                            *Minimum booking 4 nights      **Minimum booking 3 nights

Gas, electricity & bedding (not towels) included in prices. There will be a change of bedding for bookings of 10 nights or more. 

For Casa Pequena clients only, there is the option of hiring towel sets (1 shower towel, 1 hand towel), the cost of each set is €5 euros per person per week (or part of).

Changeover days are flexible. When bookings are back to back, arrival time will be 3pm and departure time 11am.

The daily rate for bookings of over 7 nights will be based on a division of the above weekly rates.

You will be able to make your payments to us simply & safely through PayPal,using Debit or Credit cards or PayPal account transfers at no additional cost to yourself. We also accept balance payments by bank transfer.

Check Availability

Guests, if they wish, can at any time, (subject to availability), book guided trips during their stay, and will also be entitled to a 15% discount off of our normal trip prices. 

For walking and/or birding packages involving 3 or more trips along with accommodation, please enquire & we will negotiate a price with you (you should let us know the expected total number in your group - max 10, & the number & types of trip you require)
